As you can see the park is almost ready. We were told that it could be ready by the beginning of December. To think how bad the weather has been I think they have done well to get this far.
If you remember they had nothing but rain when they were trying to dig out the bank, then the SNOW.
So we will soon be seeing the young people of Princes Park enjoying it.

Brilliant news, especially with the weather the way it has been!
I first investigated this idea in 2003, visiting the one at Queenborough, and determined to have one in (what was then) my ward. It took a few years, and a change of ward boundaries, but Ron Hewett and I got the one now on Hook Meadow as a result.
They are really good, and it is great to see one going into your part of the world. I've been trying to work out exactly where yours is, and I think I recognise Wiltshire Close in the background of your photos, so now I know :-)
